Pester USA builds new customer relations center in North Carolina
On May 16, 2019 Pester USA broke ground and began its initial preparations for building a new customer relations center in Huntersville, North Carolina. Early next year, Pester USA Inc., responsible for pester pac automation‘s sales and service operations in North America, will be relocating from Allendale, New Jersey to the metropolitan region of Charlotte. The new location will offer closer proximity to customers and cutting-edge German engineering know-how, as well as space for expansion on the North American and Puerto Rican market.
The new customer relations center in Huntersville will enable Pester USA to provide support on pester’s entire portfolio of packaging machines and lines for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and cosmetics sectors. The new location will create new space to demonstrate the latest packaging technology, digital software solutions, customer services and training. The facility will also include its own format and spare part center.

16.05.2019 - New location for best customer relations
The new, modern two-storied company building will span 20,000 square feet for a total of 9.7 acres of the company-owned premises. Ryan Braun, Vice President of Pester USA is confident in the advantages of the more centralized location: “Our new company hub will enable us to offer our customers in North America and Puerto Rico more benefits relating to the entire Pester machine portfolio. We can also guarantee the best German engineering knowledge and expand our services locally. In the future, this will give us the best opportunities to assert ourselves as leading partners for complete end-of-line solutions that fulfill the needs of our customers in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry.”
New location in a dynamic growing region
The metropolitan region surrounding Charlotte is an ideal location. Often referred to as “Queen City”, Charlotte is the second most important financial center in the United States. Its ideal geographical position on the South-East Coast has allowed Charlotte to evolve into a major destination airport to and from Europe. Charlotte’s airport ranks sixth with regards to the number of flight movements worldwide. With more than 975 foreign companies, 160 of which are German, seven Fortune 500 headquarters and a growing population of 2.6m, Charlotte is one of the most dynamic and diversified growing regions in North America. In addition, the location is known for its highly-skilled workforce and manufacturing and engineering hub for global technology companies. It has the 7th largest research park in the USA and fosters the establishment of innovative industries.
“We are investing in the metropolitan region of Charlotte so that we can globally enhance our position in pharmaceutical and cosmetics end-of-line packaging,” says Norbert Rechner, Managing Director at Pester. “Our new located sales and service subsidiary will enable us to improve our customers and partners relationships in North America and Puerto Rico. Especially regarding our service technicians expertise, as well as the supply of spare and format parts. Our new location is going to assure higher customer satisfaction and will offer our on-site team a highly appealing working environment.”
The official building opening is likely to take place in early 2020 and will offer several new jobs for those living in the surrounding community of Lake Norman.
